Delete Your Data
Monisy gives you full control over your data. You can delete your local data, cloud backups, or both at any time directly from the app. No need to contact support.
1 Delete Local Data
Remove all financial data stored on your device.
- Open Monisy
- Go to Settings
- Tap Data Management
- Tap Clear Data
- Confirm the action
This permanently deletes all your transactions, accounts, budgets, goals, recurring rules, and preferences from your device.
This action cannot be undone. Make sure to create a backup first if you want to keep your data.
2 Delete Cloud Backups
Remove all backups stored in the cloud (Premium feature).
- Open Monisy
- Go to Settings → Cloud Backup
- Sign in with your Google account (if not already signed in)
- Tap Manage Backups
- Delete individual backups or all backups
- Set Auto Backup to Off to stop future backups
- Tap Sign Out to disconnect your Google account
After signing out, no new backups will be created and your Google account will be disconnected from Monisy.
3 Delete Everything
To completely remove all Monisy data from your device and the cloud:
- Follow Step 1 to delete all local data
- Follow Step 2 to delete all cloud backups and sign out
- Uninstall Monisy from your device
After completing these steps, no Monisy data remains on your device or in the cloud. Your Google account is not affected — only the Monisy data associated with it is removed.
