I tried every personal finance app out there. Every single one had the same problem: they wanted my data. Sign up with your email. Connect your bank account. Let us analyze your transactions on our servers. I just wanted to track my spending — not hand over my entire financial life to a company I'd never heard of.
So I built Monisy. A finance app that works entirely on your phone. No accounts. No cloud. No data leaving your device. Ever. Your financial data is yours, and it stays that way.
The Philosophy
Most finance apps are designed to extract as much data from you as possible, then monetize it through ads or selling insights to third parties. Monisy is designed around the opposite principle: your data has exactly one purpose — helping you manage your money.
Every feature in Monisy — from AI-powered categorization to spending predictions to anomaly detection — runs entirely on your device. The AI doesn't need the cloud to be smart. Modern phones are powerful enough to do this locally, and that's exactly what Monisy does.
